If you receive your wig or Extensions and you decide that you do not like the color, style, length, or texture you ordered, or that you measured your head incorrectly and your wig is not the right size etc., as long as you meet the terms, guidelines, and conditions in this policy, you can contact us regarding an exchange or in-store credit. We CAN NOT accept returns on items that are not in their original condition and have been altered or manipulated in any way. All packaging, including wig caps, wig or extensions bag, wig label or tag, etc. must be returned with the wig or extensions. NO EXCEPTIONS. No. You must contact us prior to sending your return, you will be given a overseas return address to mail your item to, that's if you meet all the return guidlines . Also, the RMA facilitates tracking of your returned product and expedites your exchange or in-store credit. Please note that exchange or instore credit for merchandise returned without contacting us cannot be guaranteed.
An Exchange or an In-store credit will be issued after we have received, inspected and confirmed that the returned wig or extensions were not tampered with. All customers must contact us after sending the package back and provide us with the tracking information in order for us to process the exchange. if we are unable to fufill an exchange due to stock availabilty we will issue a store credit towards your next purchase or we will customise the product for you.
Human hair extensions and wigs are considered a hygienic product. We take matters of hygiene and public safety very seriously and do not allow items that has been manipulated or tampered with to be returned for the safety of all our customers. We are not alone - other hair extensions wig suppliers do not allow returns of opened items for the same reasons. Please return the package in its origional condition.

Your Vellamoi Wigs and Extensions are shipped from our warehouses located in Atlanta Georgia (USA) and our factory located Hong Kong (China)
All orders from our over seas warehouse will be shipped out with UPS express, it is our Standard and fastest shipping service. That means there is no faster Shipping Service than this. Orders from our Atlanta ware house will ship by USPS Which will take 2-4 working days. It takes 1-2 business days to process your order. We ship Monday through Saturday excluding holidays . We do NOT ship orders the same day. Please allow up to 2 business days for orders to process (for example, if you order on Monday, your order should ship out on Tuesday and you can receive by Wednesday. Also, we can ship on Saturday for USA and Canada customers without any additional fees. A signature is required for all UPS shipments upon receipt.
You will receive a confirmation e-mail once your order has been processed to the e-mail address provided at the time of checkout, which can take up to 48 hours. You will receive a second e-mail once your order has shipped, which will include your tracking number and a link to follow the journey of your package. WIG CARE
PLEASE NOTE: Avoid brushing with a regular brush or vigorous scratching of the head.

Use sharp hair scissors to trim the lace, leaving a 1/8” - 1/4” strip of bare lace before hairline.
Start with clean hair. Cornrow or beehive as flat as possible.
Rub the 99.9% Medical Grade Alcohol around your hairline skin.
Use scalp and skin protector after the alcohol prep.
Position your wig ¼ to ½ inch in FRONT OF YOUR ACTUAL HAIRLINE.
Mark the placement with an eyebrow pencil.
Using a paint brush, or a toothpick, apply a THIN layer of adhesive around the perimeter of the entire head.
Let the adhesive cure for 10 MINUTES.
Repeat glue and cure.
Clip wig hair up to keep away from glue.
Line up the front hairline and gently roll the unit back towards the back of your head, smoothing out any wrinkles and air pockets.
Press the hairline lace firmly onto the adhesive until it stays on.
Wait at least 10 MINUTES BEFORE STYLING.
Clean off excess glue with remover, and 99% Medical Grade alcohol and a Q-tip or cotton swab.
NOTE: DO NOT get the unit wet for at least 24 hours.
Prepare skin as above. Peel off one side of adhesive backing and apply to unit. Remove other adhesive backing. Apply unit to head. Press teeth of the comb into the lace mesh forcing it into the adhesive. Continue until area is completely attached around the perimeter of the head.
Put hair into a high ponytail.
Spray Lace Release along the edge of the lace.
Gently and slowly lift edges with fingers.
Once removed, use C-22 solvent or SuperSolv on the lace and put it in warm water.
Glue should come right off with a soft towel. Use solvent to remove any residue left on your skin.
Brush gently.
Shampoo in lukewarm water, using a small amount of mild shampoo, do not rub or twist the hair, rinse thoroughly. Or dip in and out of a sink full of water and a small amount of shampoo.
Gently comb out with a wide tooth comb from the bottom of the hair first and work your way up to the root.
Focus on getting the hair strands clean, do not massage as you would your own hair.
Gently towel dry and blow dry on low or just let it air dry. You may then apply a conditioner for about 5-10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
The best products to use with your wig are John Frieda, Pantene Pro V and Garnier Fruits Curly hair products. BioSilk is terrific for adding sheen and gloss to hair.
Use Knot Sealer on your unit after shampooing.
Use a Loop Brush for daily brushing!!
EXTENSIONS CARE
It is very important to take good care of your vellamoi hair to increase its life expectancy. Treat it like your own hair. Use good quality shampoo and conditioning products. Wash and condition the hair in one direction, from top to bottom. Avoid washing hair upside down in the sink or scrunching on top of your head. Use shampoos and conditioners that hydrate and add moisture. Conditioning your hair is very important to keep it soft and manageable, so use a leave-in spray conditioner in between shampoos. Daily use of a leave- in spray conditioner is a must for curly weaves, especially on the ends. As much as possible, try to avoid heavy oils, crèmes, moose, gel and hairsprays as they will weigh down your extensions and cause build up which can lead to tangling & odors! Make sure that the hair product you use is alcohol free because alcohol is a drying agent and can dry out your extensions. With proper care, your Vellamoi hair will stay soft and beautiful wash after wash.
When shampooing your Vellamoi hair, finger comb through it. Do not massage. Rinse thoroughly. Apply Conditioner. Comb conditioner through hair with wide tooth comb starting from the ends and working towards the roots. Rinse thoroughly. Let hair air dry naturally. Style by using any ceramic hot tool or blow dryer. As long as you use a good alcohol free shampoo and conditioner plus the right styling products your Vellamoi hair will look and feel great at all times!
Hair Tip: Whenever you need to give your hair a little moisture and bring it back to life, co-washing is your best bet. Co-washing also known as conditioner washing is a way to clean hair without using shampoo. A co-wash is easy to do, just wash your hair in a moisturizing conditioner instead of shampoo and you’re good to go. For curly hair, use a little water daily for a natural look or a mixture of water and leave in conditioner for a wet look.
Avoid using shampoo too often especially if your hair is dry unless it’s necessary. Shampoo has a tendency to be drying-especially with curlier textures.
Extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) is a fantastic conditioner for hair, but there are many other things about this essential oil that make it a great go-to for hair care. It’s also one of the top emollients that can penetrate the hair better than others, and its lightweight nature makes it great for moisturizing. Olive oil also contains anti-inflammatory properties that promote scalp health and prevent dandruff. Extra virgin oil is also rich in high levels of mono-unsaturated fatty acids and vitamin E, an antioxidant important for hair growth. Olive oil is not likely to cause an allergic reaction, making it ideal for sensitive skin and hair. You can also use extra virgin olive oil as a detangling treatment for your extensions, wigs and natural hair. When you apply it to your weaves and wigs, it detangles the hair, nourishes and moisturizes the hair for a silkier feel that last a longer period. Give it a try and you will ditch all your store brands.
Always brush your hair with a paddle/wig brush or wide toothed comb, starting from the bottom and working your way up to prevent tangling and shedding. A comb is probably better as it’s less likely to rip hair from the weft. Curly hair textures should not be brushed as they can get frizzy. It is best to use a wide toothed comb or just run your fingers through the hair. Keep the hair tangle free by moisturizing daily.
Yes, your Vellamoi hair can be colored. our hair is of high quality and has never been chemically treated and can therefore handle the coloring process very well. Use good quality dying products for best results. We recommend consulting a professional if you wish to color your new hair.
It is always best to make a loose braid or ponytail wrap your hair every night. Silk, polyester or satin caps or scarfs work best. Cotton, on the contrary is horrible and can damage your leave out and dry out your extensions due to its drying properties, especially when combined with the friction and pressure caused by changing sleeping positions. Never go to sleep with wet hair. Make sure your hair is always completely dry when you go to bed. Sleeping on wet hair can tangle your hair and over time may cause hair odor.
Yes, but you might want to braid your hair or pull it into a ponytail before you go swimming in order to prevent tangling. Wash the hair afterwards and make sure it is well conditioned. We recommend using a spray-in conditioner when you get out of the water to keep the hair soft and manageable.
How long will my new hair last?
The longevity of our virgin hair depends on how well the hair is maintained. Our hair will last for over 2 years, and will be healthier and stronger when you take good care of it. Due to its natural strength and durability, Vellamoi hair will last longer than most brands available on the market of hair extensions. The only time you will need to purchase additional hair is if you desire a longer length, or different texture.
